Calving management made easy with in-pen gate and yoke

Downloadable Report - Format PDF

Price: 0.99p

anaging calving means being on the spot to lend a hand if and when necessary.  Cows in a normal healthy herd using bulls that are suited to the cows they serve will do the job nthemselves - in most cases. But everybody knows they'll lose fewer calves and damage fewer cows if they can help in the difficult calvings. That means having the cow contained and in a position where you can really get down and help. The simple job of getting a halter on her  can be a remarkably frustrating exercise. She'll dodge left and right until both cow and herdsman is fed up and exhausted. It's not a good start to getting the job done easily.
