I have subscribed to 11 magazines, of which 9 have something to do with farming. The only one I'm savouring from cover to cover is Practical Farm Ideas. The fact that these ideas are from collegues in a somehow similar situation, that they have been realised under farm workshop conditions and have really proven their usefulness in the daily challenge of practical farming, gives your magazine a value I have never found anywhere before. I think your publication should be a must for any farmer who has more in his toolbox than a hammer, chisel and vice grip!

Download Articles and Reports - Help Page

There have been more than 4,000 farm innovations featured in the paper magazine, and very many of these issues can be ordered from this site. Orders are generally delivered within the week.

We have uploaded more than 300 articles to the internet, which can of course be downloaded directly to your computer. We also have some special reports that contain additional material.

eg: You want to build a front tractor weight. Use the Search function and type in front OR weight and press GO. All article titles containing the word are listed. Type in the two words, front weight, and you get all the titles with either one or both - so there are more to skim through. Typing in tractor will produce a list far longer than those for front or weight.

Each article has Vol  Issue  Pg  numbers, which acts as an Index for those with a full set of magazines. There is also the view article. Click on this and, if the article is on the website, you can download it. Click for further information and you get a page with the price and add to basket, which you follow through.  Privileged subscribers are given a personal free access code for their computer to put in the box and then submit. The download then starts. Look for the file in your downloads folder, or desktop, or whatever destination is set up on your computer. Tip: if you can't find it search your computer files for a key word such as 'weight'; or go to the function that lists the files you have used today.

Choose your interest area from the bulleted list below. Browse through a full list of article titles. Then identify the magazine number or the file to download as above.

Files which are scans of the magazine pages are generally priced at 99p with longer ones going up to £5.50

Special reports are longer, written to include information included in numerous articles and other fresh sources, including farm visits. Special reports cost up to £15.00
